Halloween Shopping!

For the last ten years, I have waited until after September 11th to take down my patriotic things and start decorating for Fall and Halloween, but these last couple of weeks I've been so itching to drag out all of the Halloween stuff! So far I've resisted the urge, but I've bought a few things in the meantime.
These trick-or-treaters are silly looking, but I had to have them! They're from Michaels.

Of course I had to have Martha Stewart's magazine, because she's the Queen of Halloween, and BH&G's Halloween magazine is usually pretty good too.

JoAnn's has some really nice fabrics this year. I can't wait to get started making some bunting.

Is that not adorable?!

I'm going to make a tablecloth for the dining room table out of this fabric. I haven't checked out Target's Halloween section yet, but they always have cute stuff, so I should probably just stay away from there, because goodness knows I've got enough things! The problem is that I really, really love Halloween. So if you've seen some cute Halloween stuff that you think I should know about.......

I started decorating for Halloween-and that is a good thing! I had forgotten about many things I bought on deep discount at the end of the season a year ago-and I have so much! Now I can just fill in where I need something...or if I find something I really love and have to have! LOL
Target still doesn't have much out yet-I think they are waiting for school to start so they can take over that section of the store.
Can't wait to see what you do with the fabric!
We need Halloween open houses!

It is so hard to wait! I've been Halloween crafting this week. I've got serger bobbin Halloween "trees" and frightful scrabble letter trays gluing and drying all over the kitchen counters!

Kmart usually has a Country Living section that is cute as a wink!

We are going to have about 10 days of weather in the 80's. Our summer didn't even start until Aug 1this year so I'm not quite ready to celebrate fall yet but I'm surrounded with it at Michael's and it's tugging on my heart for sure!

Love sent to you Carol!
