More Treasures From The Attic-VTT
Today for VTT I am sharing more things that I found in my attic last week.
More things that I forgot I have, I should say! I remember this little pink girl and her doggie. Vaguely. She now resides on a shelf in the bathroom.
But this poodle lamp? This is freaking me out, because I have no idea whatsoever where this came from! None. But I think with a little frou-frou lampshade, she'll be darling! My daughter loves all things French, but I don't think she'll like this. All I know is that I have to find somewhere to put it!
And finally we have a little chalet barometer! I've had this since I was a little girl, and it always sat on my window sill. I'm so happy that I "rediscovered" all of these things in my attic, even though some of them I don't remember! Now, to see more vintage things, head over to Coloradolady, where Suzanne is our kind hostess every week!

Wow Carol, great collection of attic finds. The poodle lamp will look so "dressed" with a shade.

Your attic held some really great vintage things. Glad you found time to clean it and share with us. The lamp is really cute.
Oh dear Carol - you don't even have to leave your house to go shopping!
I think you can foof that lamp so that your daughter likes it. Maybe paint over the eyes so that the eyelashes are batting or winking. Plus a pretty shade with bling or fleur de lis or french words.
More great finds from your attic! The little girl with her dog is so sweet. I'd say we're all thrifty ladies, but you are the thriftiest with your attic shopping!
I love that poodle lamp! She just needs a good lampshade!
Love the litte basket with blue flowers and those little old Gran clocks.;-)
"Shopping" in your own attic is super thrifty.
That lamp is sooooo stinkin cute...thanks soooo much for sharing it!
Blessings,
Linda
I knew it when I met you that we would go together like peanut butter and strawberry jam! I collect those funny little old barometers! And the poodle...well...I have a poodle bathroom. I had the laugh of my life reading all the comments from the friends on their way to the Enchanted Playhouse. Were on our way and it's gonna be fun! Night night...rest up, tomorrow is a good day for sure for sure!
Love the poodle lamp. Too funny you don't remember anything about it.
Oh what great ones! I love the lamp!!
Hugs, Lisa
Oh I think one of my cousins had a poodle lamp like yours. I remember a frilly chiffony shade on it in turquoise maybe. I always like to touch that lamp. Interesting texture. Fun finds!
I'm tellin' ya, I really want to go shop in your attic! What great treasures you have up there. laurie
Sweet Treasures!

How exciting to be able to just go into your attic and find all this stuff. I was hoping, when I moved into my cottage, that there might be some treasures in the attic left by the previous owners but there was not a sausage!
You have some lovely things.
Susie
Hi Carol, what a pretty blog you have! Thanks for entering my giveaway.
You have a beautiful collection of stuff! I love the poodle lamp it is to die for!
How fun to go "shopping" in your attic again! Make sure to go back soon, great finds up there!
what attic treasures, girlie.
I want you to use like some pom-pom fringe or that seer-sucker fabric that is back out this almost spring. Can't wait to see it again with it's shade.
That dog is awesome. You must be meant to have it if it appeared in your attic. I agree about the fru fru shade, it will look awesome. You might find your daughter loves it. Don't you just love turning up things you had forgotten?
That poodle lamp is so adorable! I think it would be great with a lovely fringy shade! How fun! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my!! You HAVE all of these treasures in your attic?? Well, enjoy them now inside your home! What an adorable lamp...I really love that! The little girl is so sweet and delicate looking, at least they were safe in the attic for all of this time!! Happy VTT!
What treasures you have hiding up in your attic!!
You must have the biggest attic in the world! I have inadvertently started a poodle collection, mostly spaghetti poodles (you get them cheaper if their tails have broken off, heh heh)--still looking for the perfect, with tail, pink spaghetti poodle that doesn't cost too much. So of course that lamp caused me no end of envy!
Such wonderful treasures over here. Thanks for sharing them with us.

What great vintage discoveries!!! I'm coming over to shop in your attic...you can come here and we'll share! Your posts are always so beautiful and so much FUN!!! Thanks for sharing! Big Hugs, Coralie
Hi Carol!
I love the little poodle lamp base! My grandma had two large poodle lamps that had touches of black on them and a chain leash attached to their collar. I had toally forgotten about them until I read this post! thanks for the wonderful memeory! Oh, and that shade definately needs a little "Oh lala" to it! for some reason I instantly saw a black and whie polka dot with some feathery boa trim. LOL
Your poodle lamp is very cool. I hope you have rescued it from the attic to a better place to be enjoyed and used.
Owww... my daughter would love that poodle! Your pink girl is too cute! I'm too late to comment on your Rednesday-post, but I wanna let you know your little cupid is adorable!
Great finds! I just love the poodle lamp! A frou-frou shade will be perfect!
Nothing better than a little shopping in the attic! It is scary to find all of that stuff that you have no recollection of, though. Not that it has ever happened to me.
I have a poodle head umbrella I'll have to dig out and display. Your lamp reminded me of it.
Love love love the barometer and clocks in your last pic!
That poodle lamp is awesome! I wish I had a little girl's room to decorate, that would be adorable! (all boys here!)
Hi Carol! Thanks for stopping by, we don't have coat closets either, old house! I think I need an attic like yours so I can go 'shopping' close to home! Your barometer is adorable. ~ Theresa
*sigh* the only things in my attic are spiders and dark corners!!!
I think that poodle lamp ought to be declared a national treasure.
Your attic sure is a goldmine of Vintage Thingies! Amazing that you had forgotten them.
your attic must be a treasure trove! hehehe.. must be full of vintagey pretties! love all your lamp and the chalet barometer too!.
Love your Valentine Header, thanks for visiting me in Normandy.
Don't forget to show us the poodle when he has a new lampshade/hat.
~Maggie~
Sure wish I had an attic to root around and find long lost treasures! What fun!!
Hello Carol! It must be fun to go shopping in your own attic and you can't beat the prices!
Thank you for joining my giveaway at Loveleigh Treasures, it was a pleasure to meet you!
Thanks for coming by and saying hi today. I think I'd like to come over and take a look in your attic! Some really fun things in there. Mimi
I bet your daughter would love the poodle with the right, lamp shade. Maybe eve a coat of paint if you aren't worried about it keeping the original look. I mean, what could be more ooo-la-la than a fancy french poodle!
Good morning, Carol! Gosh--lucky you! Wish I had fabulous stuff like that in my attic! I love that you don't remember some of it...sounds like me!!!
Thanks so much for your visit and kind comments--you're too nice! Hope you're having a marvellous Sunday!
I wish I had an attic full of treaures! I love the little barometer chalet and the fact that you had it as a child makes it even sweeter!
