More White In The Garden-White Wednesday

I got this cement column, with the resin gazing ball holder on top, at a garage sale two weeks ago. I've been trying ever since to get a decent picture of it, and I still haven't been successful! Pay no attention to the rebar. I use it as a hose guide. Instead of a gazing ball, I would love to find a cement orb for the top, but in the meantime, I have a pretty saucer full of water, serving as a butterfly bath!

I found this headboard at a garage sale last summer, and since then all of the flowers have grown amongst it very nicely.

I especially like the ceramic heart. I'm actually surprised that it survived the winter. I thought for sure it would have crumbled to bits!

I found this birdfeeder at the flea market. It's one of the prettiest I've ever seen.

And the best part is that the perches are shaped like a skeleton key. How cute!
If you would like to see more white things, please pop in to Faded Charm, where Kathleen is our hostess every week!

Nice garage sale find...try sitting down in front of it for getting a good photo. You might also try painting a bowling ball- you can grab one for $1 at the garage sales. I have 2 painted bronze. They don't blow off or break.
Love the bird feeder! Happy WW!

Goodness I want to come to your house just like you want to come and play at my house!

If you have a moment come over today to the Fairyland blog and see my birdhouse I found...you are going to LOVE it!

I love the bed in the flowers...I like old wheelbarrows and barrels filled with flowers in the garden too. I have great hopes for my back yard...just starting to put it all together. Need to earn more money so I can spend a little...or a lot!

You have sunflower seeds in that bird feeder, don't you? Just think how pretty it would look with goldfinches and cardinals on it. (And if a cardinal came, you could take a picture of it for Rednesday.)

Katheleen, your whites are charming in every way. It takes a clever mind to decorate ones garden in such an interesting way. Love your glorious cottage garden.

Oh darn Carol. Forgive me for using kathleen's name instead of yours. I was just visiting her. Yikes, I'm having blogger ADHD. I must stay focused. Smile.

Hugs again, Jeanne

Great yard art Carol! I love the ideas about the bowling balls. You could probably spackle them if you wanted a rougher texture. The bird feeder is wonderful, what lucky birds!
