My Secret Garden-White Wednesday

Let's take a stroll through the gardens! I got this "Secret Garden" plaque several years ago at the Covered Bridge Festival in Indiana.

I think this girl is supposed to be a fountain, because there is a hole in the center of her urn. She weighs an absolute ton!

I found this wicker chair curbside. The birdhouse and little cart were garage sale finds.

This birdhouse started out life as a donation box, shaped like a church. I took off the steeple, covered the slot on top with a big hinge, and added the old door plate in front.

Daisies....

Phlox.....

And the beautiful watch that I won from Debbie at My Shabby Roses! It's so pretty, and thankfully my daughter's wrists are too skinny for it to fit, otherwise I would have to hide it every night! Thanks Debbie!
If you would like to see lots more whites, please go to Faded Charm, where Kathleen is the hostess with the mostest!

I love the watering can on the sheperds hook. Curbside stuff is the best stuff! I got my wicker chairs that way, too. Silly people, what are they thinking?
Thanks for the visit and the comment!

Hi Carol,
Love what you have done with your garden. The pink watering can is a great idea, mind if I 'borrow' it?

Beautiful gardens!!

On my recent jaunt to WI with Sister Pam and dad, the topic of Sears houses came up - - - not sure why.

Sister Pam had NEVER heard of them! I was able to bring up your blog and google for your post about the Sears houses and show her yours. She was duly impressed!

Love your garden stuff! How in the world could someone dump that adorable wicker chair?! Glad you were there to rescue it and give it a proper home.

Thanks for your kind post! Yes, it takes me forever to decide where to put things. Especially right now because I don't have it set up exactly as I want. We've just picked up some more old doors so hopefully soon it'll be as I dream it!

Oh...it's so funny, here in Riverside there's a great antique market called Old Glory. Love your blog, I look forward to following.

Blessings,
Missy

The birdhouses are made so cute now a days I'd like to move into them. I found a cute one yesterday in a Dutch Antique Shop...I'll post it next week.

Going right now to the post office to send your cupcake box to you...Hope you like the assorted cupcake treasures!

I really love the way you design your garden!I also buy things in a garage sales.I bought last week an old basket that has a mini fountain structure in the inside and I add some small flowering plants. For the result,it looked like a place of fairies.Great post.

Thanks for sharing these photos. I have two of those chairs, well, they look like those and they really suit my garden theme. My garden is like a wonderland of flowers but a small version. LOL. Thanks! I just had a good idea when looking at that angel in your post.
