REDNESDAY!!!

Please be sure to visit Sue at It's A Very Cherry World when you are done looking at my reds. She's our hostess for REDnesday, and she made that graphic up there with the little cottage. I think it's my most favorite of all the graphics she's made for REDnesday!

First up is an old tin that I found at a garage sale, along with a couple of vintage glasses with roses on them.

If you are interested in finding out how much your cookie jar was worth in 1994, this book is for you! It seems silly to keep it, because the prices have probably gone through the roof since then, but it's fun to look at all of the different cookie jars I'll never be able to afford!

This beautiful piece of fabric came from a garage sale run by a lovely Amish woman in Indiana. There's almost 3 yards here, although it's only about 16 inches wide because she had made it into a tablerunner. I think some kitchen valances are definitely in order here!
That's all for me this REDnesday. Now please head over to Sue's, and check out all of the other red lovers while you're at it!

You were lucky in all your finds, but to get any amount of fabric from the Amish is great They make some of the best things ever.

The cookie tin is adorable. I love the fabric remnant too-what are you gonna do with that? I never had a cookie jar-so I guess I don't have to worry about that.

Stopping by for a peek this morning before I'm off to the land of glitter at Michaels. Unloading tons of glittered greens, elves and goodies...lots of RED for sure!
Happily I roam along...

Gorgeous tin, Carol! Are there any apple cookie jars in that book? My mom had an apple one and I hope to steal it from my sister some day. :) I have some reds up today too! ♥

The cookie jar book might not give the right values but it has to been great for reference for age, etc.

P.S. I like Sue's new logo.

Thank you for visiting and your sweet comments! I love the fabric! I keep all of my old pricing books also. Sometimes i just like to browse threw...a book is so much more fun than browsing the internet for prices, plus we get extra info!

Very pretty tin and fabric! Yes, that book is definitely worth keeping just to browse through, and to familiarize yourself with the jars - just in case you find a treasure at a yard sale!

I love your reds ,especially the rose fabric . The bluebird pitcher in the previous post is so cute & it is so funny that the lady didn't remember you, but I'm glad she didn't.;~)
