Rednesday

Sue at It's A Very Cherry World is hosting another REDnesday. Please visit her when you're done looking at my reds!

So how about a little vintage Christmas? I found this Josef Originals napkin holder at an estate sale. Thanks to the people that ran this sale, I've started a list of estate sale companies to avoid! There was no list on the door like they said there would be, they arrived 15 minutes before the sale started, and nothing was priced. Thanks for letting me rant!

Another kneehugger to add to the collection. He's smiling and he has his eyes closed. Dreaming of sugarplums perhaps?

My very first Christmas Gurley candle! I also got a lamppost, but it's not red so you don't get to see it! I know the noisemaker with the crazy conga line isn't Christmas, but I think it's perfect for New Years Eve.

And last is my sticker that we always get after voting! I hope everyone got the chance to get out and vote today. Now head over to Sue's to see more reds!

Hi Carol!
I'm loving seeing all the mentions about voting today out there in blogland!
We went to a supposed estate sale - now I know how loosely people use the term. Ay yi yi.
Love all your Christmas stuffies and your conga line noisemaker is so much fun!
Happy Rednesday,
Sally

Where do you find such fun pictures? I love the girl with the vote sign. I am proudly wearing my vote sticker. Your comment made me laugh today about letting the leaves blow away. The way I'm going, it might just come to that. Thanks for the chuckle.

Love your vintage Santa. I voted but I didn't get a sticker :( Guess they were too rushed... just thankful for the voting privilege.

Some days the estate sales are just not worth the annoyance. I have to mentally prepare myself when I go to one. :-)

Hi! Here we cannot (yes I mean cannot!) have any Christmas decorations before our Santa (the real one) left the country. Well he hasn't arrived yet, he will be here about November 16th, I'll have to check that. He leaves the night before his birthday, December 5th and then my friend, you can put up your tree. My daughter celebrates her birthday December 12th, so I usually wait with decorations after that...But I do like your Christmas decorations!

Thanks for your kind words. I love all the old vintage Christmas goodies. Reminds me of when I was little. I love to go to estate sales too and have one lady that does the most awesome ones so when I see her in the paper I am always there.

Love ALL your reds. ;) My favorite is Santa, of course.

Thanks for stopping by and watch White Christmas when you can, if you like the old musicals.

Hi Carol, oh my gosh, you brought back a flood of memories! I remember having that same exact candle as a child, and there was a lamp post and carolers and a little choir in red and white robes! My Mom never burned them but she put them out every year. I think they finally got so grungy from little hands that playing with them that she must have thrown them out, probably with that tablecloth that's in MY picture!

I'm late to the party this week. But, I love your kneehugger. I use to have a group of them that went on the tree each year. Can't recall what happen to them but I suspect one of the kids may have them now.

Thanks for stopping by my big chicken truck this week. I do so appreciate those that take the time to comment so much.
