REDNESDAY

Happy REDnesday! Let's go check out what that yellow and RED blob is over there.

I think we need to get closer. . . . .

Cute design on there. Oh, it's a vintage birdcage cover! Let's take a peek inside....

Well Good Morning, Petunia Pearl!

This is a vintage tablecloth, originally meant for a card table, that I have on our dining room table. It's just perfect for St. Patrick's Day. And it has red polka dots!!!

The good luck symbols couldn't be cuter!

Rabbit's feet.

I especially like the wishbone!

And last, we have a little curtain that I made for the washing machine/dryer in the kitchen, to hide the detergent bottles. I think it might be a little "loud" for me! Maybe after a week or two I'll be used to it, but I'm not so sure. I do want a pink and red kitchen, but this might be a wee bit too much pink for Mr. Old Glory!
Want to see more red things? Then head over to It's A Very Cherry World, where our hostess Sue has a whole list of red lovers for you to check out!

I thought it was a vintage hairdressing cape - I am seriously impressed that you have a vintage cover for your birdcage. And the elusive red for St. Patrick's Day tablecloth - doubly impressed!

Carol, the cover is adorable. I LOVE that!!
The tablecloth is wonderful, too.

That is also a cute idea for covering the detergent bottles! I have some fabric like that with a yellow background. It is to become an apron when I get around to it...someday!

I think all your reds are very pretty. I especially like the card table cloth that you are using on the big table. Looks nice in the center. I think the bird cage cover is neat, but could be put to another use as well.

You are just TOO clever. I love the little curtain you made for the kitchen and the birdcage cover is precious. I have already begun thinking St. Paddy’s Day. 7 years ago I had my head shaved - any my eyebrows too - to raise money for children’s childhood cancers. That was the biggest St P. Day celebration I ever had and ended up raising close to 2,000.00 Have not done it since. I am too old now. My head would get too cold. Love you post.

Lucky little bird to have such a pretty cover for her cage. I think Petunia Pearl is just the cutest name ever!
I love your vintage table cloth red has got to be one of the happiest colors!
Your idea of a red and pink kitchen is wonderful. I grew up with my Mama telling me red and pink didn't go together but I think the combination can be spectacular!
