MY WEEKEND FINDS-Holiday Stuff Galore!

Thanks for tuning in to another episode of My Weekend Finds, the continuing saga of one girl's quest for more junk!

Well, I think I hit every thrift store within a 5 mile radius over the weekend, where I found lots of holiday stuff, and one vintage kitchen item. A pink one!
Let's start with that pink item. After standing around, staring at this thing in my hand for a good thirty seconds, I finally realized that NO, IT'S NOT A BUNDT PAN, YOU IDIOT! YOU CAN'T PUT PLASTIC IN THE OVEN! It's a vintage Jello mold. Well, let's be honest, it was coming home with me no matter what it was. Especially when I looked on the bottom and it said it was made by Blisscraft of Hollywood. Is that a great name for a company or what?!
Vintage Easter stuff has finally arrived at the thrift stores. YAY!
I think this one is my favorite. Doesn't she look like something that Laurie over at Magpie Ethel would make?
How did the kid who received this guy in their Easter basket all those years ago resist the urge to free him from his packaging? Must have been a silly boy.....
I had to have these old Empire bunny baskets. They're destined for the front porch.
This little plaster guy with his pot o' gold will fit in nicely with all of the leprechauns in my St. Patrick's Day collection.
I have a strong like/dislike relationship with Goodwill. Sometimes their prices are ridiculous, and sometimes they're amazing, like 49 cents each for these blow molds. I already have some like these, but I DO NOT CARE. I decorate the front and back porches, so if it doesn't look like Vegas when the lights go on, I'm not happy!
Well, almost every holiday got an addition to the collection this weekend, and the 4th of July was no exception. These old rolls of streamers caught my eye right away. After all, this is Old Glory Cottage, so if it's red white and blue, it's gotta come home with you know who.....

Hi Carol,

Wow, you really scored!! Can't believe those blow molds were .49
My thrift shop, charges ridiculous prices sometimes. They put stuff from the dollar tree, and mark it 1.41!!!! Nuts! I did score on some great vintage french lace though, still on the original cards. Have a great week!

Hugs,
Debbie

Wow! All that in a 5 mile radius? I would have to travel far and wide to find that many goodies. Yet, I was lucky enough to get lots of goodies last weekend at the auction. I really need to post...but there's soooo much stuff!
