Oops, I Did It Again!~~MY WEEKEND FINDS

Thanks for tuning in to another episode of My Weekend Finds, the continuing saga of one girl's quest for more junk!
I did something really stupid at the flea market last week, and frankly, I'm a bit shocked at myself. I wasn't able to do a post about my finds last week, so it feels good to finally be able to talk about this.......
Seems I have zero willpower when it comes to resisting vintage pink radios!!! So another one came home with me. Have you ever noticed that sometimes when you decide to collect something, it just starts coming out of the woodwork, and you see it everywhere? I don't remember ever seeing pink radios until now, and there are SO many different styles. I'm scared!
Pottery for the Porch!
It's so nice to have a sister who knows exactly what I like. She found that kneehugger elf and those ornaments for me!
She also gave me that gorgeous tablecloth and patriotic breadbox.
Another watering can to add to the collection!
A vintage Hallmark Easter honeycomb decoration.
And since I'm being totally honest about my addiction, I found another clock radio today at the flea market. I had to get it, since I've got one in practically ever color but white. And I've always wanted a Brownie camera like this one, so I was thrilled to find it.
I think this is good for me, to be so open about this obsession of mine in a public forum. Maybe you can hold me accountable, when I say that I don't want to buy any more radios. Honestly, Mr. Old Glory, I promise!

My son actually said to me the other day "Mom, you have too much stuff". He may be right but why would I stop now? Does he really expect me to walk by a metal picnic basket that I don't already have simply because I have "too much stuff?". Crazy kid.

I love the pottery on your porch. I have a few pieces on mine too and fingers crossed, the dogs leave it alone.

Have a great week,

Erica

I love your radio obsession. I seriously have yet to score a vintage watering can for a decent price. I'm jealous (yet happy for you). Another great haul. Good for you!

Sure wish I could find a pink radio that works! I love everything you found. Kneehugger elf, yes please! I've only found one while out junking except for the time I saw a lady at Goodwill with one in her basket. Needless to say, I stalked her until she checked out in case she decided not to get the elf. Sadly she did.

Hmmm... I like your logic. I have never seen a pink radio in person so maybe I should start collecting them and I will??? ;)

I grew up using a brownie camera. It took the best pics!

Love that flowery watering can! I have the same Easter honeycomb decoration. Set it out every Easter.

I'm obsessed also with my junk! It just can't be helped. I love the pink clock radio, so I'm no help with that! I just keep hoping I'll stop finding things I can't leave behind! So far, it's not working!
hugs,
Linda

Aren't we all obsessed? With something or another? I love the pink radios and your cute little watering cans are adorable. You always find such great pottery. I need to stop my obsessions too, but doubt that I will.....they are a part of me.

I don't know if blogland will hold you accountable as that has not really worked for me with spun heads or pipe cleaners. I think there is nothing wrong with pink radios..as long as they are all tuned to the same station!

Another watering can? Seriously? I saw one at the auction this weekend and thought of you, and I wondered if you would pay more than $40 for a teeny tiny little lithographed watering can, because I did not! (I'm guessing you don't, either!)

Hey, if you can't find a red radio, you have to have a pink one...or two....or three!! Nothing wrong with that. Maybe that is why I have so many Hoosiers. I am Mecky and I am a Hoosier Hoarder. Repeat after me...I am Carol and I am a Radio Hoarder.
That is sweet of your sister to give you a kneehugger and a tablecloth. I am sure that tablecloth alone would have to make up for all the mean things she might of done to you when you were young!!

Yes, confession is good for the soul. I have the McCoy planter with the original pricetag on it; my Grama gave it to me. At one time or another they go for a small fortune on eBay but I haven't parted with it...it could help pay for my retirement if I'd sell off some treasures instead of finding more of them! Two more days to Holiday Flea Market weekend when more will find its way to my house...
