Vintage Tablecloth And More For REDnesday!

It's that day of the week again where we get to share our love of RED! When you are done looking at my reds, please head over to It's A Very Cherry World, where Sue is our wonderful hostess each and every week.

This first item is really supposed to be all about the green, but there is alot of red on it too. It's a little St. Patrick's Day tablecloth, probably for a card table. Love the RED polka dots!

A close-up of all the good luck charms on it. There's even a wishbone!

I've probably already shown this red tray before, and I apologize if I did, but maybe some of you haven't seen it before. It's from the magnificent Laurie, who helped me jumpstart my tray collection about a year ago! Since then I've found lots!

And finally we have red toile curtains from the boudoir! It is so incredibly bright outside with all of the snow, that it was hard to get a picture at all, let alone a decent one. I sure miss the fabric department at WalMart, don't you? This fabric was only $2 a yard there, and I bought enough for both windows. The mirrored, beady things hanging in the window are to prevent birds from smashing into the window, because there is a birdfeeder out there. Sometimes there is a scuffle between the birds, squirrels, a cat, or a hawk or two!
Now please head over to Sue's for more REDS!

  14. Happy Wednesday morning to Carol. Snow in your corner of the world, raindrops falling in mine but it's a cozy day at work for me.
I like the milkglass pitcher in the first pic and the table cloth is way too cute. You have done a great job posting on the REDS post. Fun to see...Red always radiates energy...that's what I love about it.

  15. I wanted a tablecloth like your vintage one to use at Christmas but the prices on Ebay for them are just too high for me! It seems everyone wants them! I love that flowery tray. I dont think I have seen it before and your curtains are really pretty.

  17. Your tablecloth is really sweet. I love your red toile drapes. $2.00/yard is just incredible! I don't know if they have discontinued the fabric department at our Walmart. I have purchased fabric there before at great prices and will be sad if it's gone. Love your blog.

  19. Oh, I should have linked up to this with all my many reds! I'll have to try and remember next week. I have the Rednesday button on my sidebar; you'd think that would summon memory. I just love that tablecloth. I am one tablecloth-lovin' girl. And the other pretties! I'm going back now to look at them some more.

  22. Love the tablecloth. I could kick myself because I didn't bother to get any of my Mom's old tablecloths. She really had some wonderful ones. I love your red tins. My Mom had a picnic one just like the plaid one and we used it all the time.
Our Walmarts still have fabric and I always head over there to look even if I just have to get milk.
