PINK SATURDAY-Spring Is In The Air!

Despite the wee bit of snow we got overnight, I think that Spring is definitely in the air, don't you?

I'm drawn to all things Spring-y lately. Like this vintage kitchen towel I found at an estate sale. C'mon, those tulips scream SPRING!

And this old tablecloth, which also came from the estate sale. I think it will be perfect on the dining room table for Easter.

These old greeting cards are lovely, aren't they?

They were only 25 cents at my favorite antique shop.

Those are actual dried flowers on this one.

I pulled these seeds out of the fridge, and started daydreaming of the moment when I could start planting them. I actually do this several times over the course of the winter. It seems to make those cold months go by faster. Do you store your unused seeds in the fridge? I've got tons of them, some many years old, and they always germinate for me. I'm thinking an all-pink garden is in order this year. What do you think?

Happy Pink Saturday!

  32. My senior mom is right there with you as she pours over her gardening magazines, planning out her bird butterflies flowers and vege garden for the year! And what sweet family memories you've blessed me with. My grandmother had a tablecloth that was the same or very similar to yours. I saw that and immediately was reminded of her, whom I loved so much. Thank you for a delightful visit for Pink Saturday.

  42. Hi Carol, Happy PS! Wow, wonderful PINKS today! I'm drooling over that towel with the tulips! Back in 2001 Hubby took an assignment in Holland and the girls and I were able to go over and spend a month with him. It truly is a magical place and your towel brought back great memories. 45. Carol, thank you so much for your PS visit. I love your almost spring post. Especially the tablecloth. Beautiful.

Our weather has been awesome and I am waiting for a bad old frost to come and ruin all the buds. Sigh. I didn't know putting seed packets in the fridge was a good idea. I have some waiting too.

My sister's party was wonderful and she loved every minute of the fun, food and most of all, her family and friends who attended. She ended up with lots of lovely gifts, lovingly given from a crowd of 34 people to help her celebrate being 70.

    Happy belated PS.
    Hugs, Jeanne
