My Favorite RED Find!

I went to a flea market at the cutest little country church on Saturday. They had a little bit of everything there, including alot of antiques.
It was kind of muddy where it was held, but when I saw this breadbox from afar, the mud almost sucked my shoes off as I hurried towards it!

I think it's my favorite red find. EVER! I don't even know where I'll put it. In the kitchen? In the dining room with all of the picnic baskets? On top of the armoire in the bedroom? So many possibilities, but for now it's just sitting on the dining room table, where I can just stare at it in wonder!

I also got this little angel and devil figurine there. I've seen these on Ebay before. Very expensive. He's missing his little pitchfork, but maybe I can fashion one for him. Sometimes I feel like the devil has got me by the hand as I'm garage saling, or antiquing. I saw alot of things that I would have liked to have bought at that flea market, but after finding this, the angel prevailed and I came home with most of my money! Now please head over to Sue's to see more REDS!

The Last of The Valentine Reds For REDnesday

After you are done looking at my reds, please head over to It's A Very Cherry World, where Sue is our hostess every week, and you will find alot of other blogs showing their reds! Whatever will I do next week for REDnesday? It's been so easy the last couple of weeks, showing valentine stuff. Never fear. There's always more red!

First we have an old Made In Japan February angel.

One of my valentine hankies, from my collection. It is a collection, because I have three!

This little plastic heart is a keepsake that my daughter Liz got when she went to the Daddy/Daughter Dance with her dad. They went to this dance several years, until daughter was too cool/old to go with daddy!

Hanky #2 in my collection, along with boxes of Twilight conversation hearts!

An old Made In Japan bell. It says I Love You in several different languages on it!

Number 3 in the big handkerchief collection!

And finally, I'd like to wish my Mom a Happy 85th Birthday! She doesn't have a computer, but I'll have to show her this when she comes over. We will be dining on Chinese food, personally ordered over the phone by me!
