Valentine Decor For Rednesday!
I thought today would be a good day to start busting out the Valentine decor in earnest!
I think this is the first vintage Valentine decoration that I ever bought. Love the little rhinestone in the center there!
I have a couple of these cones hanging around the house. They're filled with hearts from Dollar Tree. Do you remember these cones?
I bought them at Dollar Tree at Christmastime, and they are supposed to be trees, but I flipped them over and put a handle on them. Best dollar I ever spent!
And finally, the big mirror over the fireplace with garland and a big wooden " Be Mine" that I painted and glittered. You'll probably have to click and enlarge to see this one properly, because as you all know, it's nearly impossible to get a good mirror shot without having General Hospital reflected in there. Or whatever it is that you watch at 2PM every day! Well, that's it for me for this REDnesday. Next week, more Valentine stuff! Now please head over to It's A Very Cherry World, where Sue plays hostess every week!

Uh oh, your 2:00 secret is out now!
Good thinking on the cones; and that's a cute garland you have there.
Looking quite festive at your house. If it is two o'clock at my house and I am out in the studio - it is Judge Joe Brown for me on the televison.
Oh Carol! I love watching your mirror change with the seasons. And - very, very, very clever to turn those red Christmas trees into Valentine's Day cones! What will you do with them for the Fourth of July?
Hey Carol, Love the ceramic heart, I haven't seen anything like that. The answer to your question on your last post, yes I am always buying things becuase I'm under the blogging influence! And now I have all this stuff and don't know what direction I'm heading!
BTW, those weren't my dogs, but you can have my two big ones and I'll get some little cute ones to play dress up with!
Hugs,
Dawn
Fabulous idea on the christmas tree turned to cones. Smart thinking. Love all the reds.
It's looking very festive Carol! If you move to the Northwoods then we can have coffee and count deer together! hehe. Cindy
Hi Carol
I love all your valentine decorations. The heart in the first picture is gorgeous. We don't tend to go much for decorations here in the UK, just cards.
I'm coveting that vintage Valentine with the rhinestone! I also couldn't help noticing your vintage Christmas tablecloth ...under the red cones. Love it. -amy
Wonderful ,creative Valentine Decor !
Happy Rednesday !

I can't wait to see how you manage to convert the cones into St. Paddys Day decor. That one is going to be a challenge. :-)

Carol,
Your house looks sooo festive! I got my floor tile done yesterday in my room, black and white checkboard! I can't wait to get it all put together! Listen, I have done a few family trees for people and I have a subscription to Ancestry.com. I seem to be pretty good at it, and I have a lot of people who I can call to help, so I would be happy to help your husband with his search, just email me and I can get looking. Two heads are always better than one! And oh....I love the hunt!!!!! sanjos333@yahoo.com Sandy
Very festive. I need to get some Valentine decorations, I see. :)
Well, well....I love the red tree turned cone!!! I bought one of each. I think my green one will be for St. Patty's day...LOL... Love you blog. I have a white tree up with red hearts almost exactly like yours and I love Magpie Ethel. I knew instantly it was her creation when I saw the birds. Thanks for visiting my blog cause I found yours!
Great article & love the pictures!!
