MY WEEKEND FINDS--Holiday Decorations!

Thanks for tuning in to another episode of My Weekend Finds, the continuing saga of one girl's quest for more junk!
Last Friday I went to a  barn sale, an annual event that I always look forward to, and even lose a little sleep over. You just never know what you're going to find there. Some years it's amazing, and other years not so much. As soon as they let us in, I made a beeline for the holiday decorations department. This sale is so crowded that you have to grab first and think about it later. I grabbed this bag when I saw the price and that pink Rosbro bunny that I've always wanted.
Little did I know that all of this vintage Easter goodness was inside that bag, and all for 50 cents!
Cute little Made In Japan bunnies....
And these two cute chicks, also Made In Japan. So glad I grabbed that bag!
Halloween decorations. Left: vintage Haeger pumpkin planter from my sister. Middle: pumpkin guy that creeps me out more and more every day. Right: cute little polka dot punkin boy.
Groovy Napco pilgrims.
Vintage Santa figurine and blow mold.
In the non-holiday decorations department, I found this pale blue vintage tablecloth, and the little pottery vase is from my Mom.
This old cooler also came from the barn sale. Again, I had to grab it right away and decide later whether I really wanted it. I carried it around for a while, trying to figure out just exactly where I could possibly put it, and how I would use it. In the end, my final decision was this: I needed it because I wanted it. I put it on the porch, and I'll use it as a decoration! I'm thinking some mums in there for Fall, and lots of greenery during the winter. So, what did you find last week?

Oh! I would lose sleep, too! Ha-ha!
I understand that want and need stuff! I recently bought a baby pillow and matching blankets with felted white kittens on them! So unpractical but so cute!!!

My new favorite saying is "I needed it because I wanted it"! Love the Easter stuff. I wish I could have gone to that sale. Then we could have duked it out over everything:-) Seriously though, great job!

LOVE that plaid cooler! I'm crazy for plaid all year round but in the fall/winter it takes on obsessive tendencies. LOL That thing is going to be just darling full of mums!

You did some great 'grabbing'!! Love the Easter decorations! You found lots of great goodies and I too think the plaid cooler will be lovely with mums in it! I've been avoiding sales since I'm full up (can you believe?) but maybe a wee one here or there soon. hugs, Linda

Love the Easter decorations. What a steal of a price. Also love that tablecloth, but my fave is that cooler. It's such a neat plaid-different then the typical Scotch Brand Cooler. I wish we had little sales like that around here. I'm waiting for fall garage sales to arrive. I have no idea when they'll start-it's still around 99 degrees here!

Guess what? I have that little pilgrim pair! My mom gave them to me when she downsized. Now when I get mine out I'll think of you.

Oh and those are amazing finds again! I especially love the tablecloth - it's so pretty! Oh yes, and I especially love the cooler - I have a thing for those. I could probably go on and on about how I especially liked one thing or another. Job well done!
