MY WEEKEND FINDS

Thanks for tuning in to another episode of My Weekend Finds, the continuing saga of one girl's quest for more junk!
Well I'll be the first to admit that this vintage Fisher Price Little People Playhouse was the last thing that I expected to bring home from a garage sale. But I had to have it! I actually passed on it and got in the car and started driving away before I threw the van in reverse and went back for it. Just look at those sweet little windowboxes on the second floor!
And on the back of the garage, there's a dog bowl full of bones, and Snoopy's very own doorway!
Six little Santa cups, all for a quarter.
Another Easter Bunny candy holder! It's my second one in about a month, after years of hoping to find one that I could afford. The bunny on the right is a baby rattle.
This vintage aqua CLUB sauce pot looks SO GOOD sitting on my stove! You'll have to take my word for it, because the old stove just isn't all that photogenic (it's dirty).
Pottery. YAY! That wee little pink pot is only about 3" tall.
I found these two vintage transistor radios at the flea market on Sunday. I haven't figured out a spot for the blue one yet....
But the red one is now hanging by the back door. It's been really slow going at garage sales and the flea market lately, and pretty soon the junking season will be over, and but a distant memory. And then the options are either to hit the antique stores or pay tons for shipping on Ebay. I'm dreading it already....

That fisherprice house was worth going back for. The girls have enjoyed mine and I'm glad my mom hung onto all our fisherprice things. I can't believe .25c for all those Santa mugs. Good for you! Great treasures.

Happy Monday!

Every time I see those Santa mugs, I am disgusted with my self, one day I left behind a set and jug for a good price at Value Village. I see them often on blogs so, I'm reminded quite often of my stupidity that day!!

Love that house. Those radios look perfect hung by the keys. The bunnies are outstanding. I want to go shopping with you one day when I grow up...smiles...Renee

Last Christmas, I picked up a set of the santa pitcher and 8 of the tiny mugs at an antique mall for $10.00. Throughout the year, I have found more of the tiny mugs here and there and have put them out in the shed with my Christmas stuff. Who knows how many I will find when it is time to unpack! Love the bird planter too. I have the same one (surprise surprise)! Have a great week!

I love your finds! I'm dreading the winter weather and lack of garage sales/flea markets also! The Midwest needs to come up with some good indoor flea market options!

I have a Fisher Price house in storage in my basement. Maybe someday I'll have grandkids that will play with it.

You find the best stuff! I'm glad you went back for that house. I didn't buy the one I was looking at this spring at an estate sale and hae kicked myself ever since.

I have some bunny candy holders like yours. They are one of my favorites.

Those transister radios are the bomb.

Blessings

My kids had the Fisher Price house...their stuff is vintage now! That makes me feel old! I sure love your sweet bunny finds. And I enjoy Etsy more than ebay. Sweet hugs!

Great stuff! I could never have enough vintage x-mas or Easter! Yes, not looking forward to no fleas or estate sales. I tend to turn towards Ebay just a bit...which is sooo bad!!!

My sister had the doll house, she called it the house with the doorbell rings. :-) I had the red radio as a kid. It might still be around here...I don't get rid of anything!
