Hi Carol, what a pretty header picture and Fall background. I really like it. (I like what was there before, too. ;)
The devastation and destruction that day was on such a huge scale, it's necessary to remember what was done to the people of our Country. I wonder if younger people know - how even the fire trucks couldn't move because their tires melted from the heat. People didn't jump out, the explosions blew them out of the bldgs. It was truly horrific.
I feel so embarrassed. I did not know that 9/11 is called Patriot Day. How did I not know this!! You see in Maine and Massachusetts we have Patriots Day which is in April on a monday. In fact when my daughter was born on the 18th of April, it fell on Patriots Day. The day is in acknowledgment of the Revolutionary War. Why do all days of importance have to be from a war(s). Isn't it time for a Peace Day? Take care.

remember. sometimes there is so much power in one word.
I hope we remember every single day. . . . those who were killed deserve that from us.

You have a very nice post today in honor of 9-11. It is hard to believe it has been 9 years.
