More Decking Of The Halls For REDnesday!
I never did get around to finishing my Christmas decorating, but I'm calling it DONE anyway! Does anyone remember how last year I walked around Goodwill for half an hour, looking for the hat for the Santa on the right? Finally I had to give up, exit the building, and go buy a cheapo Santa hat. It was either that or leave him behind, and I don't think I ever even considered that option!
Both jolly men sit atop this cabinet in the kitchen.
But I still can't decide if I like this display better. I'll probably play around with it 'til New Years Day, when it all goes back in a box for another year!
I love this Little Miss Santa doll! Poor thing has never ever been played with, because she's still wired into the box, along with her wee fireplace. I would have loved to find her under my Christmas tree when I was a little girl. And odds are that I would still have her, because I think you're all finally catching on that I was a hoarder/collector from a very young age!
The dining room table.
Dining room table "centerpiece", with some fantastically tacky plastic flowers in a vase!
A few pinecone elves cavorting merrily on an old breadbox in the kitchen. I can't wait to see what everyone else is sharing for this week's REDnesday! If you would like to share in the RED excitement, visit Sue at It's A Very Cherry World, where she hosts this great party each and every week. Thanks Sue!

Carol I love your Santa cookie jars! Maybe one day the other 'hat' will finds it's way to you. Love those pinecone elves. Are they home made or store bought? I'm about to call my decorating done also. Oh I will keep tweaking it here and there...we hoarders, I mean collectors never stop.
I have those santas, yes both of them with hats intact. I love them. I am drooling over all your reds, but then again I always do. You got good stuff. I too am a (hoarder) collector from way back. It was in my genes. I come from a family of collectors.
Everything looks so Bright and Cheery~ I love all the Vintage Christmas Treasures, I was real good about selling off a lot of mine this year! Funny thing is I will find more out Treasure Hunting all year long. Happy Holidays, Diane

Oh, Carol, I'm in dreamland! The two Santa jugs look great together, and the Miss Santa is so adorable - you must be tempted to take her out and play with her! I love your "tacky" flowers, too - I think Christmas is about the only time that they're really acceptable! Great weekend finds, too!
Carol - your place is always so charming and so much eye candy! I would love to come over and hear your stories about your finds and treasures.
I like your decorations and the way you are displaying them. Very Christmas.
Hi Carol!
You're way ahead of me - I have barely begun decorating woe is me. Where does the time get to???!
I love your Santa cookie jars - he's still the cutest even without his original hat! (I adore your cabinet they're sitting on.) Your Little Miss Santa is so much fun!
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
Carol, your house looks great! Very vintage and cheery-love it. I wouldn't have passed on the Santa either-you know, eventually you'll find his hat when you least expect it!
What would Santa be without a hat? I love those little pinecone elfs.
Blessings~

Those are really beautiful, and I love a touch of red here and there..
Your vintage decorations are wonderful! Your displays look really cute!
This is the second NOEL sleigh I've seen tonight, and I'm starting to feel pangs of jealousy. All of your stuff is lookin' good. (Except for the NOEL sleigh. I think it's too much on the dining room table. Maybe you should give it to me.)(There's still time to get it here by Christmas if you hurry.) (Hurry).
Beautiful reds! You've so many keepsakes..
All I can say is "Fantastic"-love it!
Blessings,
Cindy :)
Cute, cute, cute as usual. Always a pleasure to stop by. Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and blessed New Year.
Hi Carol,
I love all of your reds but in particular the dolls. They are so cute and I love their faces. I have those plastic santa cookie jars, I got them for my kids when we went to Radio City for the show 2 years ago. They gave them away with cookies inside for the VIP seats. I love them.
Seasons Greetings,
Carey
