Thanks for tuning in to another episode of My Weekend Finds, the continuing saga of one girl's quest for more junk! |
If I see a vintage mermaid, I'm gonna buy it. Especially when they're 25 cents each. I may be a hoarder, but I'm not crazy! |
I simply had to have this old aqua fan. I just need to make sure to keep the kitties and the kiddies away from that open area where a piece is missing! |
25 cents for a bouquet of flocked hat floral picks. |
A bunch of vintage pillowcases, all with the original price tags still on. I paid even less than that! |
A pair of Lefton patriotic drum bookends. I'm ashamed to say that I just started decorating for the 4th on the inside of the house. Otherwise I'd have more patriotic books between those drums! |
Finding vintage Christmas stuff year round is always appreciated, and these blow molds are no exception. Especially that little elf! |
An old African Violet plant stand, from that same estate sale. |
More old garden tools. Crikey! I ask you, how many will finally be enough??? After finding that turquoise-colored one, I don't think there could possibly be another one out there as pretty.... |

You were really lucky to find those blow molds - I've only ever seen one Christmas one and I bought it!!
Wow Carol, you really found some great stuff! I love everything! I too keep alot of what I find, even though I have a booth. I have that same elf blow-mold! I now have three different blow-molds, elf, snowman, and Santa. I've missed your posts every week, but I saw that you were vacationing. Glad you're back and junking again!
Fabulous!!! I especially love the fan and garden tools! Do let us know when you start ebaying! :)
Love the fan and that kitty book! I hope you *DO* get to move to the woods some day. I love the woods even thought they can get depressing in the winter. ♥
eeeek!!! The flower frog vase is beyond AWESOME!!! LOVE IT!! Of course linens speak to me too!
Nice finds.
Warmly,
deb
Carol,
You always seem to come home with some very cool stuff! Love that bunch of vintage pillowcases and the deer tray too.
I love every single thing you showed! Those darling mermaids, the pretty yellow & purple tablecloth, the bookends--everything!
How did you know that plant stand was for African Violets? I have one in my window but I don't know anything about them. Heck, I can barely keep the poor thing alive!
Oh I have missed your amazing finds. My mother has that flag print and I have already put my name on it when she tires of it. I too keep almost all my finds. Love all your loot...smiles...Renee
Great finds. I love the mermaids they did make me smile and those vintage pillow cases im green with envy they look beautiful. dee x
You found some great things. How wonderful to find the Pledge picture!!
I like everything you found but I have to say that I like the tablecloth best. LOVE IT!!!
You find the neatest stuff! I love the pillowcases. Oh, and the fan and...all of it!
No treasure hunting, sick again with a cold! Have not been sick in 3 yrs now twice in 6 weeks!
last weekend I bought alot of Pyrex for my friends..forgot to take pics.
I love the flower frog and holder! Have never seen one like it before? Again I adore all the things u gave me..the kitchen at 1515 looks wonderful!!
I am trying to resist buying more stuff until I can organize what I've got. I know I will break down and junk again soon, but I'm trying. I love all your finds but those mermaids are adorable! hugs, Linda

Blessings
You find the most amazing things. If you ever decide to sell the little turquois vase with the flowerfrog built in...pleae give me first dibs. I've never seen an elf blowmold...the pillowcases are wonderful...you did find REAL treasures.
You have SUCH an eye! I would love to visit your attic some time! I'll have to show off my weekend finds too!
I am digging the pillowcases - original tags are a bonus! Totally understand the last photo of the tray for the cottage house. I collect swimcaps with the hope of a beach house...
Well I'm glad someone had luck this week! You did amazing! I laughed about your mermaid comment...of course, you would have been CRAZY to pass them up! I've never seen a gnome blow mold before! Great Find! :)
Erica
You never cease to amaze me with the stuff that you find!
Love the fan but be careful with those wide opening. I speak from experience.
WOW! I couldn't find this much cool stuff in a month!!!! Blow molds and brand new pillowcases....just that would have made me giddy!!!!! Great job Carol! :)
Oh, what wonderful finds! I love the tablecloth and vintage pillowcases! Oh, so sweet! xo Heather
You find such wonderful treasures every week, Carol!! I love it all, especially the deer tray.
What great finds!! Enjoy your new treasures!
Hugs, Lisa
Love going to auctions and estate sales. Not enough time to visit very many lately.
You did very well with your selections.
Carol, what a great haul as usual. I love the pillow cases and the mermaids. Keep us posted if you start selling-not that I need any more stuff, but one can't resist. You have such a good eye!
I need a good junkin' day! These kinds of posts always inspire me!! Love all the vintage finds. : )
Oh my, that tray of two deers is too dear! Love all your finds - I've seen those mermaids for a LOT Of money in an antique mall and almost bought them so getting them at a bargain price makes you clever, not a hoarder!(is that enabling? if so, guilty)
Great picking girl..yahooooooooo
I love the colors in that tablecloth, and what a find those pillowcases are! Hope you had a wonderful vacation. --Fran :)
I love your take on things: "I may be a hoarder, but I'm not crazy!" That is too funny! The fan is so cool (no pun intended), and the linens are great.
